Apreamare Boats

Since 1849, Apreamare shipyards have built sailing vessels styled after the traditional Mediterranean “gozzo sorrentino” fishing boats. Giovanni Aprea began this more than a century and a half tradition of boat building and his family continues that tradition today. The original Apreamare boats were not motorized. Motors were introduced after the second World War, and the Apreamare gozzo gained popularity as a pleasure boat. In 1987, the fiberglass hull was introduced. The design of the gozzo was reengineered in 1989 to introduce a new keel built for greater speed on the water.

Current models include the Apreamare 64 Fly; Apreamare 64; Apreamare 48, Apreamare 44; Apreamare 38 Open; Apreamare 38 Comfort; Apreamare 32 Open; Apreamare 32 Comfort; Apreamare 28 Open; Apreamare 28 Midcabin; and the Apreamare 28 Cabin. In 2008, Apreamare introduced the Maestro line of vessels: the Maestro 51; the Maestro 65, and the Maestro 82. A new Apreamare can cost in the millions of dollars while a used one may be priced in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. Apreamare appeals to an exclusive clientele who desire a time-honored design.
