Avalon Pontoons, a boat manufacturer based in Alma, Michigan, is owned and operated by Jim Wolf. As a testament to the quality of his product, he has taken many trips on the company’s boats--to demonstrate that they are capable of handling the various conditions the water may throw at anyone.

With more than 30 years under its belt, the company produces several different models of high quality pontoon boats. Avalon Pontoons is a well known and respected name in the industry. Boats are not sold to the public directly from the manufacturer, but rather through a nationwide network of dealers. The company was the recipient of the National Marine Manufacturer’s Association (NMMA) award for 2009’s Customer Satisfaction Index Award.

The Avalon Pontoons L Series includes the following models: Ambassador, Excalibur, Paradise, Paradise Sanbar, Paradise RC, Paradise Funship, and Paradise RC RF. Models in this line feature amenities such as electric rear lounges, electric refrigerator, and electric wine rack. These models are “fully loaded” and as such tend to be on the more expensive end of the pricing spectrum, topping out at around $50,000.

The Avalon Pontoons C Series includes the following models: Windjammer, Windjammer Sandbar, Windjammer RC, Windjammer Funship, and CT Fish Models. These models still offer luxury features, but are more affordably priced.

Avalon Pontoons also produces the following Economy models: Catalina, LS, Eagle, and CC Fish. These models are standard boats, offering basic features to ensure affordability. These boats are priced at the bottom of the spectrum at around $16,000. 

There are over 50 models available to choose from, ranging in length from 16 feet to 29 feet. Used models are available for as little as $6,000 and can be located through various boat classified ads and dealers. Though the pontoons are acceptable for use with salt water, maintenance must be performed to ensure the boat is ready. 

The majority of the parts used to build an Avalon Pontoon are manufactured onsite in their facility. The boats are constructed from the highest quality marine aluminum available on the market today to ensure the boats will last. The boats are made using more stainless steel parts and some of the most mildew resistant fabrics to protect your investment. Reflective safety stripping is also added so the boat can be seen from a distance when light is shined on it. Every boat that comes off the Avalon line has been built to meet or exceed NMMA standards. 

All Avalon Pontoon models come with a five year bow to stern limited warranty, and a lifetime hull, deck, frame, and seat warranty. More information and specific details of the warranties are available from dealers.
