Axis Boats

To people familiar with water sports and boats, Malibu Boats is a well-known name. Malibu recently added a new division to its extensive family of watercraft. Axis Wake Research is a company devoted to providing a great boat for those who like to wakeboard. Wakeboarding is fairly new. Like a water skier, a wakeboarder is pulled across the surface of the water behind a boat. There are several keys differences, though. The wakeboarder is booted atop a single shorter, wider board. The boat pulling him is generally designed to stir up lots of wake. The particular challenge of wakeboarding is to be able to ride the wake. The Axis A22 is the boat the Axis Wake Research has designed to meet those requirements. Wakeboard boats require a special hull design in order to kick up large amounts of wake. They also need a particular type of tow bar. And, they must be both powerful and easy to handle. Because of this wakeboard boats are pricy. The Axis A22 has the engine and design components of similar wake boats. However, the A22 is targeted to people who are willing to forego top-of-the-line features in order to save hundreds or thousands of dollars when they purchase their boat. Axis Boats are practical and durable and carry comparable warranties, but have practical rather than posh features.
