Bertram is a yacht building company held under the Ferretti Group name. Based in Miami, the company specializes in sports fishing yachts. For more than 45 years, Bertram has designed and manufactured cutting edge sports fishing yachts for customers in the local Miami area and around the world. The current models available for direct purchase include 360, 410, 510, 511, 540, 570, 630, 700 and 800.

The 360 is  a sports fishing yacht available in Open and Express designs. Open offers live well and bait station standards. These features are replaced with seating and space in the Express design. Many features can be interchanged between the two models to create a hybrid sports fishing yacht.

The 410 sports fishing boat can be designed as an extreme fishing boat or a cruising model. Advanced features include brighter control salon, noise proofing and optional deluxe salon navigation.

Bertram’s 510 Convertible can be customized for fishing or cruising, as is the case with most Bertram sportsfishing yachts. Standards features on the 510 Convertible include refrigerator, prep station and wide walk-around decks. The 511 is an upgrade from the 510 with more technological advances.

The 540 is a redesign of the classic Bertram 54. The new design keeps all the popular features from the Bertram 54 sportsfishing yacht and adds technological upgrades to create a meld between a fishing yacht and a cruising yacht. Standards features include 25 rod storage, underwater exhaust, tackle storage, baitwell, livewell and freezer. Transom fish boxes can be transformed into ice machines or an additional baitwell as needed.

Bertram’s 570 is designed as a cruising/sports fishing yacht. Standard features include top loading freezer, circulating baitwell, bait center, tackle center, saltwater and freshwater sink and secure rod storage. Three cabins are integrated into the lower deck with a queen stateroom and private head.

The 630 is a smaller version of the Bertram 700. This Bertram sports fishing yacht model is available with an open or enclosed flybridge. Both can be custom designed with two salon layouts, stateroom options and galley layouts.

The Bertram 700 is a cruising yacht with sport fishing yacht upgrades. Galley, seating, salons, and decks are designed and manufactured with top of the line materials and upgrades. Boat owners can choose from a long list of options to personalize the space like reclining lounges and wet bar.

The largest sports fishing yacht in the Bertram line is the Bertram 800.  While still in the development stages, the Bertram 800 is a highly customizable sports fishing yacht. Standard features include a large cockpit with room for a fixed table and entertainment, bringing the cruising aspect Bertram is known for. In addition, four cabins and a master stateroom with multiple layout options are available.

Bertram offers specifications on all available sportsfishing yachts. Specifications include total length, length of hull, beam, draft, displacement, fuel capacity, water capacity, engine and engine options. Optional layouts for each Bertram sports fishing yacht model is also available for viewing. Layouts are available for bridge, salon and staterooms.

Yachts around the world are made for a variety of purposes, from utilitarian models to luxury cruisers. Bertram began production in the 1960s with one of the most recognizable yachts in world – the Bertram 31. A pioneer in the use of a deep-V hull, the Bertram 31 quickly set records in sea races, establishing a reputation for stability in even rough seas. That stability was highly valued by marine fishers who needed a boat able to quickly get them to their catch. Today Bertram combines an emphasis on utility with comfort and luxury.

Bertram’s a deep-V hulls enable the yachts to sit low in the water, providing proven stability and power in even rough seas. While the first yacht offered was the iconic Bertram 31, today the company offers a range of boats from forty to eighty feet. Bertram still builds with fishermen in mind, but now includes a range of available features for more comfort. Bertram yachts are found world-wide, both the classic 31 and its newer siblings.
