Buddy Davis boats are produced in conjunction with several prestigious boat manufacturers. Buddy Davis first began building boats in the 1960’s and became a part of the Egg Harbor Group in the 1980’s. Buddy Davis Yachts was acquired by Dr. Ira Trocki in 2003 and Buddy Davis boats are still produced in the fine Carolina boat building tradition. They also produce quality boats under names such as Topaz, Predator, Buddy Davis Yachts, and Egg-Harbor. The Buddy Davis boats include the 28 Center Console, the 34 Center Console, the 34 Express, and the 38 Express. The sportfish yacht models produced by Buddy Davis Yachts are the 48 Express, the 52 Express, the 52 Sportfish, the 58 Sportfish, and the 70 Sportfish. As evidenced by the model names, these boats range in size from 48 feet to 70 feet.
