Wealthy customers who need an expensive toy and enjoy going fast on the water can check into Cigarette Boats. These high performance boats come in three basic types in 2010: high performance, center console and sport cruiser. They’re all relatively long, even for high performance boats, ranging in length from about 38-51 feet. Its longest 2010 vessel is the 50’ Marauder, and the shortest is the 38’ Top Gun. Other vessels include the 48’ rider XP, the 42’ x, the 39’ Top Gun Unlimited, the 38’ Top Gun GT, the 39’ Top Fish (a center console), and the 49’ Grand Sport (a sport cruiser). Perhaps the most traditional looking of those is the 39’ Top Fish, which weighs about 12,600 pounds and holds up to 418 gallons of fuel.

Even used, Cigarette boats are expensive. You can find a 2005 46’ ROUGH RIDER XP for about $500,000, a 1999 35’Cigarette 35 TS for about $179,900, and a 2002 Cigarette 38' TOP GUN for about $235,000. If all of these are too expensive, you can look at models that are about 20 years old. For example, the 1988 Cigarette 38 Top Gun can cost about $90,000.
