Cobalt boats is located in Neodesha, Kansas. For more than 40 years, the company has tried to meld hand fabrication and building with technology. Dealers selling the Cobalt brand are held under great scrutiny as the company dedicates itself to the boat owner from start to finish. Cobalt manufactures bowriders, watersports boats, cuddies and cruisers. There are 18 models in the Cobalt line. The 18 models range in length from 20‘ to 37‘. Many of the models in each series offer the same base model with package upgrades. The 210 Series, for instance, offers a watersports package and is remarketed as the 210WSS.

Cobalt models fall into the 210 Series, Bowriders, A Series, Water Sports Series, Cuddies and Cruisers. The 210 Series is the based for the Water Sports Series with longer lengths and additional power options available on bigger models. The 210 and 220 Cobalt series models offer 20 and 21 foot lengths, respectively. Bowriders are entertainment and cruising boats so models are created with lounge style interiors with luxury seating and swimming platforms.

The Bowrider series offer bow seating and speed boat style control. This series offers various lengths from the 21‘ 222 to the 30‘ 302. Upgrades include wash basin, stereo system and acoustic design making high speed noise a bit less interfering. All Cobalt Bowriders offer a split, walk through windshield. Safety grips are included throughout all Bowrider models for added safety.

The A Series offers only one Cobalt model. This Bowrider offers an extended swim platform, optional step, and increased internal seating. The boat is created from a five piece mold.

The Water Sport Series by Cobalt is merely a rendition of other Bowrider models with a water sports package upgrade. Standard features on the Water Sports Series Cobalt include water sports tower with board racks, bimini top, sunshade, Sony stereo system with iPod dock and hull graphics. Upgrades may be different for different base models. For instance, the 210, 222 and 230 have some different upgrade options than the 232, 242 and 262. Some of the options available include interior upgrades, cruise control, tower speakers, transom stereo remote, tower lights, driver’s rear mirror and satellite radio.

The Cobalt Cuddies & Cruisers replace bowriding seats with cabin space. The 303 offers access to the cabin opposite the driving console. The cabin offers a galley kitchen, stateroom and half circle seating. The seating area transforms into the stateroom bed. The largest pleasure boat in the Cobalt line is the 373. This model offers a complete bar, full galley kitchen ,sitting room, full master stateroom and twin bed second stateroom as standard features.
