Cruisers Yachts Boats

Thompson Brothers Boat Manufacturing Company started in 1904 in Wisconsin. When a second generation took over the business, the company started manufacturing wood lapstrake cabin cruisers. These cabin cruisers were sold in the Cruisers, Inc catalog in 1956. As technology advanced, so did Cruisers and wood materials were replaced with fiberglass. Soon, the cabin cruiser design was replaced with motor yachts and sports yachts that are still built by the company today.

There are eleven yachts in the Cruiser line - 300, 330, 360, 390, 415, 420, 447, 455, 460, 520 and 560.

The 300 Express is the smallest Cruiser yacht manufactured today. The yacht combines cabin cruiser comfortability with a 6‘4“ head space in cabin, but the amenities of a yacht. Walk-thru windshield and mid-lounge are standard.

The 330 Express is a bit longer than the 300 and with a redesigned deck and cabin, every inch of space is utilized to provide a feeling of a larger boat. Standard options on the 330 Express include upgraded sound system, technical features and cabin.

The 360 Express looks more like a speedboat than a cruising yacht. The cockpit offers an open design so it can be used as an entertaining space as well as navigation central.

The 390 Sports Coupe is the first truly upgraded model in the Cruiser sports yacht line. Powered with Volvo Penta motors, speed is not a problem. Full glass enclosed cockpit offers a walk-through design to stretch deck space from stern to bow.

The 415 Express MotorYacht takes things a bit bigger and better, in terms of yacht features. As an Express MotorYacht, full width swim platform, express style cockpit, wet bar, salon, dinette, galley and forward stateroom are all standard.

The 420 is available in Express and Sports Coupe designs. Sports Coupe yachts by Cruisers have upgraded motors for more power, but retain the same comfortability synonymous with the Cruisers motor yacht series.

The 447 is the only Sports Sedan in the Cruiser line of motor yachts. With a Volvo Penta IPS motor, power is not a problem. Features standard on the 447 Sports Coupe motor yacht by Cruisers include an entertainment center with TV and DVD system, full beam aft stateroom and forward staterooms with queen sized beds.

The 455 Express MotorYacht is compared to a penthouse suite by Cruisers. With three full sized staterooms the comparison could be valid. The Express is also available in the 460, 520 and 560 designs. The largest Cruiser motor yacht is the 560 Express. There are three staterooms, huge salon, stowaway sleeper, day head and designed head for master suite. There are also options available like a full-sized washer & dryer and alternative interior layouts.
