Ernie Duckworth created Duckworth Boat Works out of need rather than business choices. The whitewater rapids of the Snake River Hills Canyon was hard on boats in the 1960s, so Duckworth chose to weld together aluminum speed boats that would maintain strength in the water. When local boating enthusiasts saw the finished product, they soon demanded Duckworth boats of their own and the business side was born. The Duckworth Boat Works company has been in business for 40 years and designed 4,000 boats in that time. The most popular models are the Pacific Series and the new Offshore released in 2010. Both Offshore and Pacific Series models are available in various lengths based upon the needs of the boater. New and used Duckworth boats can be found at authorized Duckworth dealers. All dealers are currently located in the upper northwest United States and Alberta Canada. Prices range from $25,000 US for a used 2006 Pacific Series model to more than $60,000 US for new and used current models. Authorized Duckworth dealers provide new and late model Duckworth boats for sale and service all models. The 2010 Pacific Series Duckworth offers several models falling into the $45,000 US price range.
