Eagle boats have been around for more than thirty years. In the last few years, however, the Canadian company has chosen to focus on building the perfect boat for the Canadian outfitter. Outfitting is a form of business where customers are taken onto the Canadian waters by a guide in order to catch big fish without the need for personal boating or fishing equipment. Thus, Eagle boats are designed to meet the needs of businesses that must establish or maintain a fleet of boats rather than one personalized boat. Eagle boats are created from aluminum and costs are kept low through careful resource management and off-shore production. In 2009, there are four boats available for the Canadian outfitter – the Cub 16 / Cub 18, Camp 16, Camp 17 and Camp 18. An online brochure is available with specifications for each model. Before changing to an outfitter business model, Eagle boats manufactured personal watercraft for various forms of fishing. These models, including the Eagle 210 can be found online for sale. Used models tend to range in price from $8,000 US. Prices for new Eagle boats are not available online, but fleet builders and outfitters can contact the company for a direct quote.
