FinCraft used to be a boating name associated with sturdy and durable aluminum fishing boats. Today, after adopting a new fiberglass technology, the company no longer produces aluminum boats. Molded fiberglass replaced the aluminum models due to the pliability and safety of molded plastic. Aluminum boats are known for sharp edges, rust and drab designs. With VEC technology, FinCraft can create rounded corners and new designs to meet the needs of the outdoorsman and the family. FinCraft fishing boats are sold as complete packages. The package includes the boat, trailer, outboard motor, fish locator and trolling motor. Unlike many other boat manufacturers, FinCraft publishes the price of their boat because customizations and upgrades are offered with set prices. The base FinCraft model retails for $13,995 US. Customers can price their personalized boat based on changes made to the base model. Changes can include removing the trailer or motors, upgrading motor horse power and adding bait wells, extra seats and stereo systems. Nee FinCraft models are new to the boating market and thus dealers are limited. Only one dealer, located in Minnesota, is currently listed on the official website. Older model aluminum FinCraft boats, however, are available for sale and may be priced between $14,000 US and $30,000 US.
