For more than 30 years, Fortier Boats have been built in Somerset, Massachusetts. Fortier is a family owned business that uses a proven Eldridge-McInnis design on all models. The company has chosen to build in four different lengths – 26’, 30’, 33’ and 40’. The three most popular Fortier Boats are the Fortier 26, Fortier 30 and Fortier 33. Semi-custom boats are the company’s specialty. A semi-custom design starts with a standard boat model. Fortier offers all base specifications on the website, as well as a list of optional features for the customization process. Most of the optional features focus on the décor and interior of the boat, but a few are structural including the ability to add an extra diesel battery, hydraulic steering and wash down pressure pump. Teak elements throughout the sea boats lend a yacht-like feel to these easy going boats. Fortier Boats are not available for direct purchase from the official website. With no dealers listed, the consumer can assume all sales are made from the Fortier headquarters in Massachusetts. Fortier does provide listings for previously owned boats for consumers to browse. According to the listings, a used 2004 Fortier 26 sells for $120,000 US and a used 2005 Fortier 30 for $225,000.
