Glasstream Boats

Glasstream Boats has been in business of designing and manufacturing fishing and pleasure boats for over 25 years. The company’s original founder Kruis Retherford is still at the helm as the President of the company, located in Panama City, Florida. In addition to design and manufacturing, Glasstream Boats also boasts a state of the art restoration facility to breathe new life into older models. The current boat line has nine models ranging in size from 17 footers to 36 footers. All boats have wood free construction are use only non-deteriorating materials.

A trademarked company; Glasstream Boats utilize a unique patented/copyrighted hull design. This cutting edge hull design was first used on the ‘Turn of the Century,’ a race boat that won the APBA Championships in Key West in 1988. Designed by A. L. Kirkland, the step hull was a racing prototype that at the time was touted as a radically engineered hull utilizing the newest available technology. This same hull now sets the standard performance boats with a v-bottom. Handling and performance were greatly improved by the step which initiated more lift and reducing drag. The end result is a very fast boat with a smooth, dry ride. All Glasstream Hulls carry a 10- year warrantee.

Prices for Glasstream boats vary greatly depending on the style of boat and the available options. Used 2007-2009 models can run as high as $69,000 US.
