Gregor Boats

George Gregory started the Gregor Boat Company in Fresno, California in 1964. The first boat he produced was a 13 foot all welded aluminum fishing boat that was produced using Gregory’s patented Thermotrol welding system. That first boat set the standard for quality in aluminum boat construction. The Thermotrol welding process creates a one piece, all-welded hull that is solid and smooth with reduced drag that provides a surprisingly smooth and dry ride. An entirely welded hull requires no rivets, especially below water line. Gregor hulls offer exceptional stability and are shaped for a smooth, dry ride. The bottoms are designed with a shape that is meant to achieve maximum performance and efficiency. The bow is a clipper style with sides that flare out and forward to shed water away from gear and passengers. The bow in a sharper design cuts through the water with less impact and water spray.

The Gregor Ocean Series is a line of seagoing fishing boats that come in either 20 foot or 22 foot lengths. They offer a clipper bow that is flared forward and a deep V-hull. Each model has fishing pole holders and shelves as well as tackle box storage.

The Gregor fishing boats can be purchased used for about $4,000 to $7,000.
