Jeanneau Boats

Jeanneau is a French boating company that designs and sells powerboats and sailboats. Started by Henry Jeanneau in 1957, the passion of the company is based on fluid and elegant lines, technological advances, innovative hardware and environmentally friendly powerboats and sailboats. Jeanneau follows nautical tradition when crafting the six sailboats and five powerboats available for sale.

The six sailboats offered by Jeanneau are the Sun Odyssey DS, Sun Fast, Sun Odyssey, Sun, Sun Odyssey Performance and Jeanneau Yachts. The Sun Odyssey DS line includes four performance sailboat models. The Sun Odyssey 39 DS, 42 DS, 45 DS and 50 DS. These performance sailboats are comfortably equipped for long term travel on the ocean or a short day on the open sea.

In addition to various other sailboat models, Jeanneau fabricates the Jeanneau Yachts series. There are two sailboat yachts to choose from - the 53‘ and 57‘. Both offer plenty of on-deck space and cabin space for guests.

Jeanneau is not only in the sailboat business, the company currently offers several series of powerboats including the Cape Camarat, Leader, Merry Fisher, NC and Runabout. The Cape Camarat powerboat series is available in walkaround, dual console and center console models. The Leader model is available in Leader 8, 9 and 10. Deck space is limited, but below deck all models offer a spacious cabin area.

The Merry Fisher line of Jeanneau powerboats is a sportfishing boat. Some models are uniquely designed for specific fishing trips like the Merry Fisher Marlin 6. All Merry Fisher models are equipped as fishing boats and cruising boats with below deck quarters, galleys and seating.

The NC model by Jeanneau is a convertible powerboat with enclosed upper deck that uses sliding doors, windows, seating and table to create and recreate open space. Beneath the deck there is an open cabin that can also transform into a seating area.

The Runabout Series of powerboat by Jeanneau is available in only one model, the Runabout 755. The layout offers dual console, walk through windshield, seating and table for entertaining.

The company prides itself in the use of emerging technologies to create a sleeker, more stylish powerboat. They now use computer-aided programs to enable them to use the most advanced drafting tool on the global marker, the CATIA computer-aided design software. This allows designers to craft a boat from its conception to its final implementation. The use of computer-aided construction insures that the fiberglass coating that they use allows the builders to design and craft the boats to precise measurements. Jeanneau’s Cap Camarat is one of their most popular models. It is almost 18’, with a hull length of 17’1”. It’s 1808 lbs and has a maximum engine power and has a twenty-six gallon tank to insure long day trips.
