Based in Indiana, Jefferson Yachts was founded in 1982 by Leon Shaw. The company’s first design was the Jeferosn 48’ Cockpit Motor Yacht, which has, in turn, inspired the designs of over 500 other yachts, including the 37 Viscount Sundeck Motor Yacht to the 82’ Starship Yacht. Perhaps best known for its Marquessa Sports Yachts and their Pilothouse Yachts, Jefferson yachts are built to uncompromising standards. Displaying extraordinary attention to detail, Jefferson Yachts’ interiors feature impeccable hand-rubbed teak and a state of the art galley to impress even the fussiest of gourmet cooks. The Marquessa Yacht Series offers all the comforts to insure the most enjoyable cruising experiences. The line offers a range of lengths from 57’ to 63’ long. The designers employ advanced electrical systems that offer shore power inlets, TV/coaxial cable from inlet to all TV outlets. It also has a 20 gallon electric water heater and an emergency manual bilge pump. Their Starship line showcases larger and bolder designs that offer outstanding value and performance. They feature a sky lounge with a deep V-shaped keel and ribs that form a mono hull. Considered one of the world’s most luxurious yacht lines, the Starship series was designed by the renowned naval architect, Tommaso Spadolini.
