Jones Brothers Marine Boats

Founded in 1989 by Rob and Donnie Jones, Jones Brothers Marine strives to consistently build high quality fishing boats at affordable prices. Their first design was the Bateau which led to their creating a line of flat-bottomed boats aimed at fishermen. The Bateau prototype was a fiberglass Jon boat that was geared towards meeting the needs of sport fishermen, hunters and oystermen. It featured a short, centerline skeg that allowed the vessel to make short turns in a small area. This enables the Bateau line to be operated in a variety of different types of water environments, from the unpredictable sounds of the eastcoast from the Carolinas up to Maine. They also desgined and manufactured the Cape Fisherman model that is geared to handle the roughest and unpredictable water. Both models of boats offer 100% composite construction to enhance the boats performance and long term durability. As a result, they are easy to hnandle, stable in the water, and offer a steady and smooth ride, making them a very popular choice for both anglers and saltwater guides. They feature factory fitted rigged Yamaha outboard motors and can be fitted for lite tackle and fly fishermen.
