Using standard tubes, the Flotebote pontoon begins with a 5052 marine grade aluminum alloy sheet that is sturdy enough and thick enough to withstand even the most severe of damage. Kayot pontoon boats are built with standard aluminum tubes that are made using sheets of aluminum that are joined end to end to ensure that there are overlapping joints with 20% more weld surface at each joint. This technology results in an extremely strong tubing system that will let you boat with confidence. The wiring and decking incorporates a patented tube riser bracket that allows the spread of force to be balanced over the entire length of the tube. Each deck is equipped with sanded and urethane sealed deck joints that prevent the appearance of pock marks on the carpet after years of use.
