Dale Martin and Hutch Holseberg partnered to start a fishing boat company that created quality for less. That company become Key West. When Martin retired, Holseberg bought out the company and Key West continues to produce fishing boats in Ridgeville, South Carolina. There are Bay Reef, Center Console, Dual Console, Flats, Skiffs and Walkarounds available from Key West fishing boats. No wood is used in the construction of Key West fishing boats.

The Bay Reef series includes five Key West models - 176BR, 186BR, 196BR, 216BR and 246BR. Bay Reef fishing boats range in length from 17‘7“ to 24‘5“. All boats come standard with rod storage, casting platforms, coolers, livewells and up to 250 HP on the largest model. 

The largest series of Key West fishing boats is the Center Console series with 14 boats. The 1522CC is the smallest center console fishing boat at 15‘2“. The largest is the 293CC at 29‘3“. The center console series is generally the same from the 1522 to the 293 aside from length and open space to fish. The 2300CC also comes in a 2300 CC SS variety. The only noted difference between the 2300 CC and 2300 CC SS is the size of the center console. The SS has a smaller console and thus more space to move around the console.

The Dual Console series from Key West fishing boats is available in five models - 176DC, 186DC, 2020DC, 211DC and 225DC. This line of fishing boats by Key West offers front seating or casting depending on the desire of passengers. Created as a mixture of cruiser and fishing boat, the DC series by Key West comes standard with rod locker, livewell and storage lockers with extra seating for use when cruising.

Key West fishing boats creates only one flat, the 1760ST. The boat measures 17‘6“ - long enough to store fly rods. The 1760 ST or Stealth, floats shallow in the water allowing for shallow water fishing. Aerated livewells, 20‘ push pole brackets and bow casting deck come standard.

Skiffs have a flatter bottom design, but tend to move in the water like a V-hull boat. Key West offers four Skiff fishing boats, the 166SK, 177SK, 197SK and 218SK. Each boat comes standard with bow casting deck, navigation lights, anchor locker and console with storage. 

The Key West Walkaround Series is created with a small cabin containing a head, galley and bunking quarters. The 2020WA is the smallest model at only 20‘2“. The 2300WA is the largest at 23‘4“.

Standard features, specifications and optional features are available for every Key West fishing boat, walkaround and cruiser style model. Some boats also list a performance report that can be downloaded.
