Larson has been creating performance boats for nearly 100 years. The company started in 1913 when Paul Larson built the first Larson boat in Minnesota. Today, Larson performance boats are available in LX Series, Senza Series, LXi Series, Escape Series and Cabrio Series. LX Series Larson performance boats are available in 1700, 1750 and 1850 models. The 1700 is a relatively small 16‘11“ runabout boat. In terms of performance boating, the 1700 model runabout comes with optional engines from Evinrude, Mercury, Suzuki and Yamaha. The 1750 runabout boat is a bit longer at 17‘1“. The true difference in the 1700 and 1750 is in performance motor choice. The 1750 offers MerCruiser and Volvo Engines. The final boat in the Larson performance boat LX Series is the 1850. Even longer than the two sister models at 18‘10“, the 1850 seats four and comes with optional performance boat motors from MerCruiser and Volvo. The Senza Series by Larson performance boats include four models - Senza 186, Senza 206, Senza 216 and Senza 226. The Senza 186 is the most affordable and smallest in the Senza performance boat line. The model measures 18‘6“ at centerline and comes with MerCruiser or Volvo Penta engines. Senza 206 measures 20‘6“ and holds 10 passengers. Standard features on this performance boat built for watersports include flush mount ski tow rig, integrated swim platform and sundeck with walk-through. The Senza 216 is a sports performance boat and cuddy in one. Measuring 20‘6“, a lower deck cabin fits snuggly under deck. Ten people can easily fit on the boat but it sleeps only one or two. The final Senza Series performance boat is a bowrider. The boat holds 11 passengers and measures 22‘3“. The LXi Series of Larson sports boats is a performance series with entertaining and watersports in mind. There are four boat models - 218, 238, 258 and 288. Each model gets progressively longer and holds more passengers. Integrated swimming platforms, full width sun decks, wraparound seating and walk-through windshields are standard. The Escape Series of Larson performance boats are created for watersports or fishing with the optional fishing package. Models range in capacity from 10 to 12 persons and come standard with swimming platforms, ski packages, side console steering and walk-through to bow seating. The largest series offered by Larson is the Cabrio Series. Cabrio performance boats are available in seven models - 240, 274, 310, 330, 330 DC, 370 and 370 DC. DC stands for deck cruiser. Cabrio boats are cruisers equipped for overnight stays on the water. As such, all have under deck sleeping quarters. The boats in the Cabrio line range in length from 24‘7“ to 36‘11“. All Larson Boats come with a Five Point Promise, which guarantees each customer the ideal “experience” in quality, safety, performance, and value. Larson is the only company to use VEC (Virtual Engineered Composites), which is a special fiberglass molding used in creating the hull of the boat. Larson Boats have several different series available on the market which include a variety of models depending on your price range. The LX, Senza and LXi Series are made for speed, yet maintain luxury. The Escape Series comes fully equipped for the serious fisherman or if you just want a nice day out on the water. Finally, the Cabrio Series is made for entertaining, as it is bigger and can seat more. |
