Morgan Powerboats is a powerboat company based in Plymouth, which is located in Devon in the UK. It is owned by Andrew Morgan, a long-time boat builder who comes from a long line of boat builders. Morgan boats specializes in one particular powerboat, the Morgan 260, which is designed to be an affordable powerboat that offers a high degree of stability, speed, and maneuverability. Four years in the making, the boat's design was completed by Morgan in tandem with UK boat architect John Bate, who is known for his high quality boat designs for the UK Marines. The 26 feet long Morgan 260 is hand built by Morgan's team, and is finished with high quality oak and leather. Included in the boat are are a generous saloon, toilet and shower, cabinet, and a large deck area. The final build is dependent upon the buyer, who can select particular building options, including the engine that will be included in the final boat. There are four different engines available for the Morgan 260. Three of the engines available are standard diesel engines, while the P3 petrol option, while less common, offers additional power for the more experienced boater. The engine type selected for the final build will affect the final price for the Morgan 260, which can range from between 89,000 to 108,000 Pounds Sterling.
