Nautic Star Boats

Nautic Star, founded by Phil Faulkner of Amory, Mississippi, in 2002, is known for its quality bay, deck, and offshore boats, geared specifically toward families that enjoy boating, fishing, and water sports. Though a relatively new company, Nautic Star claims three generations of hands-on experience in boat building, and has established a serious reputation for quality and customer service.

Nautic Star's top models include various styles of fishing boats—including a line of tournament boats for competitive fishers; deck boats—large enough to seat several people and particularly good for on-the-water family vacations; and offshore boats—smaller than the sport deck boats but still outfitted quite comfortably. Each Nautic Star is spacious and comfortable, with plenty of performance and versatility.

Each Nautic Star boat is water-tested with one of the boating industry's most rigorous quality control tests. Nautic Star founder Phil Faulkner likes to say that the only grade for a Nautic Star boat is 'perfect.'

Depending on the model, Nautic Star boats retail anywhere between $22,000 and $32,000, not including freight charges, accessories, and relevant sales taxes. Used Nautic Star boats sell between $10,000 and $25,000.
