North River Boats

North River Boats has been located in Roseburg, Oregon, since 1974, and is known for its all-welded aluminum vessels. All North River boats sport heavy-duty welded aluminum hulls, soft rides, and stable platforms.

The top models at North River are the Sounder, the RAIV (Rigid Aluminum Inflatible Vessel), and the Landing Craft. The Sounder is a standard boat, good for fishing or a weekend trip, with a spacious cabin and a variety of comfortable options. The RAIV is a work vessel, popular with law enforcement, search and rescue missions, fire response, and high-speed water patrol. The Landing Craft is specially designed to convey equipment from ship to shore, and features a large cargo deck for transporting materials, 4-wheelers, all-terrain vehicles, cars, trailers, and even tanks.

North River also manufactures smaller vessels (17' to 26'), customized to exact specifications. In fact, North River can customize any 20' to 50' aluminum boat, used for nearly any purpose. All custom-designed boats have the choice of power and propulsion systems from inboard jet, all brands of outboard motors and gas, and diesel I/Os.

North River does not sell directly to the retail market, so customers must go to an authorized North River dealer. New North River boats may cost as little as $16,000 or as much as $95,000, depending on the model, and used ones are between $8000 and $20,000.
