Sea Hunt Boats

In 1995, a father and son started building center console boats. The line of boats would soon be recognized as Sea Hunt Boats. Originally, the company was so small boats were built out of a one room shop, but in 2006 the factory was relocated to a 170,000 square foot facility. Today, Sea Hunt Boats designs and manufactures seven lines – Gamefish, BX-Bay Boats, Ultras, Victory Series, Triton, Escapes and Skiffs.

Sea Hunt recently created a state of the art hull that is available only on the Triton 177 and Triton 202. Called the Vortex Hull, it allows for faster speeds and better fuel efficiency. The shape of the Vortex also takes away some of the drag caused by larger boats on the water so a smaller engine or motor can be used to pull a larger boat.

Prices for new Sea Hunt Boats fall in the $40,000 to $60,000 range. Used boats can be purchased through dealers and private owners starting at about $10,000.

The Gamefish Series is a center console boat equipped for the most discerning fisherman. With insulated fish boxes, livewells and room to walkaround the center navigation, the boat can easily accommodate more than one fisherman and plenty of rods and fish.

The Bay Boat Series is all about navigating in water with less spray and more control. Casting platforms, dual livewells and rod storage that locks are all standard features. The Ultra Series offers a combination of all the standard fishing features with upgraded features for water sports.

Victory Series is a fishing boat with all the features a fisherman would want on a boat with the added luxury of a cabin for family fishing trips. The cabin is roomy, especially considering the small size of the boats in the line – 20’ and 24’.

Sea Hunt Skiffs are a bit different than the rest of the Sea Hunt line. Skiffs can run in as little as nine inches of water. The flat bottom skims across the water surface allowing for fantastic fuel efficiency. A center console allows for better movement around navigation.
