Boaters love the fact that Stingray offers so many options including various layout options and upgrades. The company was founded in 1979 and despite the ups and downs of the marine industry, maintained a footing in the market and continued making power boats. Al Fink created the small company that now calls a 225,000 square foot warehouse home. Prices for Stingray Power Boats range from $19,000 to $35,000 for new models. This could change if the boat is highly customized. Used Stingray Power Boats can be purchased for extremely low prices. Featured models in the Stingray line are grouped into five series – Open Bow, Cuddies / Cruisers, Sportboat, Deckboat and Fish & Ski. Open Bow models are 180 RX, 185 LS/LX, 195 FX, 195 LR / LS / LX, 205 LR / LS / LX, 225 LR, 250 LR. Cuddies / Cruisers are 195 CS / CX, 205 CS / CX, 225 CR, 230 SX, 235 CR, 240 CS, 250 CR, 250 CS. The only Sportsboat is the 230 SX. Deckboats include 220 DR, 235 DR. And the Fish & Ski model is the 195 FX.

The 195, for instance, is available with three seating choices, cuddy layout and two bowrider layouts. Essentially, the buyer can choose what type of boat he wants and Stingray Power Boats can create a custom boat off a base model. One unique 195 is the Fish & Ski edition. This boat converts from family to fishing and back again with ease. There is enough power to pull a skier or wake boarder, as desired.

One of the largest Stingray Power Boat models is the 250 LR. This model comes with upgraded features and a canvas covering that creates a tent-like camping experience on the water. The bowrider model feature allows a small family to take the boat on the water for a day of fun, but overnight lodging is only suggested for two people.
