According to many reviews, 2900 Coronet is Tiara’s affordable and full-featured yacht. It is the one and only model under the Coronet name. In terms of cost, it is probably the next best option from the more expensive 3200 Open.

The Coronet has a unique rounded transom, not square as is the case with most open-type boats. It is great for simple cruises as well as for fishing with its 114-square foot cockpit, 54 square feet of that open space. It features stainless steel hawse pipes for the stern lines. The cockpit bolster pads are designed at mid-thigh height, or 27 inches, for safety especially during fishing.

The bridge deck consists of an elevated L-shaped lounge with an elegantly-designed chart table area, a helm seat and a refreshment area. It has a cold water sink and two iceboxes. The 2900 accommodates two in the forward cabin with a V-berth and an enclosed head with sink. Its galley has basic amenities such as a sink and a single-burner stove. The boat has an overall length of 31 feet and 7 inches and a dry weight of 10,000 pounds. Standard engine are twin 320-hp Crusader 7.4 MPI gasoline inboards.

Tiara also manufactures convertibles. One of its models is the 4300 Convertible. But it does come with a high price.
