Triton Boats

Triton is a brand of boats that claims to focus on using state-of-the-art materials in order to build watercrafts of tremendous strength, but without adding any additional weight. In short, these durable boats are stated to be more fuel efficient, faster, and able to provide a dry and comfortable ride. Like a few other boat makers today, Triton constructs all of their watercrafts without using wood. Instead, they incorporate a space-age material s on one in particular, we will look at the 20XSHP SC model. This watercraft is suitable for both fishing and water sports. It comes equipped with features like an automatic bilge pump, plush carpet with edge trim, non-skid aft step mats, a hot foot throttle, a boarding grab handle, a removable anchor and running lights, as well as SeaStar hydraulic steering. 

The three different series’ of Triton boats under the Saltwater line are the Express & Walkaround, Center Console, and Light Tackle Series. This is a total of 23 Saltwater models to select from. One of these being the 2690 WA. This walkaround has a fuel capacity of 204 gallons, and a 100 percent hand-laid hull. It provides cabin features like courtesy lights, cabin rod racks, a cruising hatch with screen, a locking companion-way door, interior lights, a V berth with filler cushion, and a galley unit with an ice box, butane stove, and pressurized fresh water sink.

The Aluminum, Walleye, Ficalled Tri-Core composite. This polyurethane material never rots over time, and it is not affected by climate changes. According to the main website, Triton boats are constructed from the inside out. These watercrafts come with a lifetime hull warranty, and are sold through various dealers around the United States.

As stated on the official Triton website, there are three primary components to boats. These are the deck, the hull, and the stringer. Triton watercrafts, in particular, are constructed with hand-laid fiberglass, which provides ample frame strength. The main website for this make also states that safety is the number one concern when it comes to Triton boats. There are six different lines of watercrafts offered by this company, and they are listed as Tournament Bass Boats, Saltwater Boats, Aluminum Boats, Walleye Boats, Fish & Ski Boats, and Pontoon Boats.

The Tournament Bass boats come in three different series’. These are the XS & X3 Series, HP Series, and Tr & Explorer Series. This is a total of 19 different boat models. To focush & Ski, and Pontoon boat lines from Triton include 50 different models. One of these is the DV 17 Liberty, which is a Walleye boat. The overall length of this watercraft is 17 feet and one inch. It has a hull dead rise of 17 degrees, and transom height of 20 inches. The maximum horsepower for this Triton model is 125, and the maximum weight capacity is 1305, which is equal to around six passengers. This watercraft comes standard with Gunnel step pads, a lockable rod locker, recessed drink holders, a fire extinguisher, passenger grab handles, and a lanyard ignition stop switch. The DV 17 Liberty is NMMA certified.
