Dual Console Boats

Dual console boats are any kind of boat that has two helms or two places for steering and operating the vessel. This is another term that is more so used to describe and attribute of any one boat rather and an actual type of boat. Almost any boat can be dual consoled! With this type of control the boat is obviously motorized, if it were any other type of propulsion, there would be no console. No less, two of them. The average boat that has two consoles is usually large enough for around eight people to fit comfortably, but there are no limits to what a dual consoled boat can look or be like. But for these average-sized models the potential buyer is looking at a starting price of about $25,000. Boats that are dual consoled are advantageous to the boat owner because it allows for two people to be in control of the vessel when it is in motion. Usually, dual consoled boats are much larger than boats with only one console, so the number of consoles can sometimes go up in proportion to the size of the craft. Dual consoled boats are usually still small enough to be portable over land, by use of a trailer, thus making them ideal for people who want lots of space on their boat and the added security of having two people in control.
