A rotary switch is a type of switch that is very useful for a watercraft or vessel. It is used on different devices which come in two or more distinct modes of operation or states. One of the forms of a rotary switch is a three-deck which can up to three several circuit functions.
Typically, a rotary switch has a rotor or spindle which comes with a spoke or contact arm projecting from a surface likened to a camera. It has an assortment of terminals which are arranged in a circle just around the switch’s rotor. In order for multiple poles to be used, the rotary switch is layered and each of the layers is equivalent to a single pole.
