Aloha Pontoon Boats is a luxury pontoon manufacturer started in 1960. Priding itself on offering customers Southern hospitality and innovative designs, Aloha claims to be the first pontoon boat manufacturer in the Southern United States can fairly be considered one of the oldest and most dependable names within the industry. Aloha is known for their family friendly boats, with a large and varied product line, releasing 23 pontoon models for 2009. The Paradise series is considered the crown jewel of the Aloha family, offering boaters luxury amenities like onboard stoves and triple tunnel hulls for faster cruising speeds.

Some strong points of Aloha design are heat-shrinkable wire connectors in the under deck harnessing and the stereo systems, which have their own wire harnesses. These separate harnesses save the speakers from transmitting engine noise and protect boaters from fuse blowouts. Other positives include hand-welded aluminum, an interlocking extruded deck, a bucket helm chair with comfortable arm rests and ample support, and extruded spray deflectors.

New models can be found in the range of $30,000 to $40,000, with newer used models ranging from $15,000 to around $25,000. Older models can sell for less than $10,000.

Aloha attributes much of its longstanding success to Southern hospitality. They’re known for friendly and prompt customer service, and they often take on hard tasks such as finding parts for owners of vintage models. Aloha Pontoon Boats also claims to be at the forefront of innovation.
