In the 1980s, Procraft Boats emerged onto the scene of boat manufacturers with both bass fishing and combination fishing and skiing boats. In 2000, Procraft Boats branched out into manufacturing their Super Pro Series , a line of tournament-quality bass fishing boats. These met with immediate success as Tim Horton, fishing in his Procraft Super Pro 210, won the title Bass Angler of the Year in 2000. Currently, Procraft Boats offers four bass fishing models and one combination fish and ski model. All models meet the standards for flotation set by the NMMA and the United States Coast Guard.

Pricing

Newer Procraft boats are generally priced around $30,000 and up, depending on the model and size. Older and used models can also be found online ranging in price from $5,000 to $25,000.

Pros

  • Procraft boats are purchased with standard warranties.
  • Many models feature aerated livewells.
  • Procraft boats feature sufficient deck space for both fishing and entertaining.

Cons

  • Procraft boat trailers come with a single-axle trailer, which may not provide the same degree of support offered by a double-axle trailer.
  • Due to the design of a combination fishing and skiing boat, Procraft boats may experience more splash back than other crafts.
